If you’ve had an interest in learning more about Breathwork as a whole, then this one day online workshop will serve as a great introduction while providing a solid understanding of the topic.
Breathing is the language of the soul and the bridge between the physical and non-physical realms. You communicate with the breath, turn to it for information and actually learn to breathe from the breath itself! It is literally a source of inspiration, and the key to peace, power, oneness, wholeness, and health.
In every moment, the breath is nourishing us. It is continuously working to keep us alive, to help us move, to function and respond to daily situations. At any given moment, the breath is a reflection of the quality of life force as it is expressed through the body, mind and heart.
Every breath that we take mirrors our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual state of being. It mirrors our conscious and unconscious thoughts, emotions, feelings and sensations. The breath also reflects deeply held emotional trauma, habitual patterns and tension that have been carried from the moment of conception up to this very moment in your life’s journey.
The breath is a tool for Self Awareness - by being aware of yourself and your emotions you become aware of your intentions - bringing more clarity on your life path.
The breath is a tool for Self Regulation - known as Pranayama (Life force Expansion) in Sanskrit. Through breath you can balance, energise or relax your nervous system. Therefore, through Conscious Breathing you are in control of your body and your life.
The breath is a tool for Self Transformation - it allows for optimal communication throughout your being, connecting you back to your truth and knowing. Release energy that no longer serves you and find clarity on the journey towards your authentic SELF.
In this one day Online workshop you will:
-Become familiar with the reasons for doing Breathwork. -Explore the subtle force that animates our bodies - Life Force, Chi, Prana, -Gain a basic understanding of the Breathing Process. -Explore three segments of Breathwork as a whole: Awareness, Regulation and Transformation -Learn valuable breath awareness and regulation techniques to incorporate into your daily life. -Experience the healing power of your own breath, as we dive deep into the subconscious mind - through the technique of Conscious Connected Breathing.
Your facilitator: Certified Breathwork & Yoga Practitioner, Jean Rossouw, is passionate about introducing people to the power of Breathwork for physical, spiritual and psychological wellbeing, while being a keen explorer of modalities that further these dimensions of living.
He is increasingly interested in the inner dimensions of change and healing, especially the overlap between spirituality, neuroscience and transpersonal states. Jean supports inner transformation and personal development through various tools, such as Breathwork, Yoga and other healing modalities.
He is an advocate for evolving our consciousness through tools such as breathwork therapy, thereby supporting a more meaningful, purposeful and harmonious life.
